i feeel so badly for him. he clearly loves his daughter. IMO kim bassinger is a right bitch & loose custody.
he's been asked to let out of his contract w/nbc so he can advocae for paternal rights & more fairness in the legal system. he wants to help other dads in this position.

yeah I read that he asked to be let out and they turned him down. And I actually agree about Kim Basinger, she had no right releasing that tape to the public. She thought she was hurting him, but what about their poor child
Baldwin must have been really pushed to the limits to have spoken that way to his daughter, but releasing the tape was reprehensible. I didn't see the View, but I do sympathise with him. What a terrible mess.
Not sure how old his daughter is, but if she's a teen or pre-teen, that kind of thing happens. My son drives me nuts and I've called him a few choice words
so I do feel sorry for Alec
but I'd like to know Kim's side too.
Although she shouldn't have released the tape to the media. It's personal and will only embarrass the child.
Kids engaged in a power struggle = anger from the parent.
Kids vying for attention = irritation from mom or dad.
When a parent recognises what's going on, it's easier to back off from a strong reaction, like name calling, but who the heck hasn't given in to the instinct to let the child have it? Lord knows I'm very glad I wasn't caught on tape more than a few times, lol.
I agree totally. I can see where Alec is coming from. Cody hasn't quite pushed me to the point that I've said anything to him, but I sure ranted the second i got out of the room.
