BTW, ALicia is extrememly thin, so anybody of normal size would look "big" beside her.
I rememer reading about the day that Susan Lucci had to be rescued from her car when she and her husband got stuck somewhere, and the chap that carried her from the vehicle reported that the woman was extremely petite. He didn't know she was a soap star. These gals are all rails!
Well the event was a Harrah's Casino, Joliet, in a banquet hall. You either went in line for the food or the stars.
I got there early and lined up for the stars, wasn't hungry anyway, then I told my mom go get a table right in front of the stars so I could stare at them after I got the autograph.
Then you waited your turn, got to shake their, hand, chat for a bit, get an autograph and photo. Had to move the line along, so that was the extent.
AMC was there for two hours, then a break, then Days was coming, then GH. I had to leave in the a.m.
I did stare at them while I ate. I had a nice lite lunch cuz we were going for dinner for my anniversary that night. I was near the table that his mom and girlfriend sat at too. The girl friend was as thin as Alicia, jeans and a white tank. Not very pretty, but she had no make up on.
I took a video clip too, I think that's on myspace, but I can try to get it on youtube. Just them signing and chatting with people.
I was so star struck cuz I never met anyone before
Oh and I asked Colin "so I hear you are from around here and how did you end up in NYC. He said he went to school in Iowa and entered a modeling contest, he travelled to Europe and NY and ended up on AMC" With Alicia I said "I'ts so great to meet you, we never see famous people here, but I"m sure in NYC you all walk around, doyou all live there? and she said yes and she liked getting out of town, and I said oh but our weather is not so great, but she said, NYC has rain. And I asked her to sign for Brandon, she said no problem. I probably should NOT have said this, but I told her that he wanted me to get Laura Wright but I couldn't stick around. And she said something like Oh he'll settle for me then? And I said Oh he watches AMC too"
I always did think that Alicia was a bit skinny when she was on the show! And I guess they'll be no hot Kendall-Brandon played character scenes any time soon now... oh well, Carly and Brandon played character would still work too. LOL
