As you know, I always try to keep you in the loop whenever any new audition scripts are released by ABC. One was just put out today for the role of a thug. It's a long nine page script. Because we cannot copy and paste word for word, I will summarize for you and give you the key points only.
The script opens with Amanda and JR being held by thugs and forced into a dark cellar. JR tries to lunge at one of the thugs only to have the guy put JR in a stranglehold with a knife to his throat. Amanda screams and begs the guy not to hurt JR. The other thug laughs and says "Aww isn't that cute." JR demands that he be taken to Adam. That he knows that his father is behind this. Then the script cuts to JR and Amanda in the dark cellar with JR shouting for someone to open the door and let him out. That he wants to be taken to Adam. The door opens and JR is pulled out with the door shut behind him. Amanda throws herself against the door and screams for them not to hurt JR.
Suddenly JR leans over to the main thug and whispers that he is doing a good job. The thug asks JR if he is all right and JR tells him that everything's working out fine so far (Remember I am summarizing only this is not word for word). JR tells the guy to do what he does best and make it look good. That he has to look like a victim. The guy asks JR if he's sure about this and JR shoots back that if he wants to get paid, he will make it look really bad.
JR braces himself as the guy begins to beat him up. The script then cuts to JR back in the cellar with Amanda looking terrified and helpless when she sees what was done to JR. She asks him why they did this to him. She wants to know what happened out there. Then it cuts to a flashback of JR telling the thug to demand a million dollar ransom. Suddenly JR tells Amanda that he doesn't think his father is behind this after all. That Adam would never want him tortured and physically hurt.
The next scene has Adam answering his cell phone with the thug informing him that he has Adam's son. Adam doesn't believe him and thinks it is some kind of prank. The guy tells Adam to go to his computer and enter "Chandlersboy.com". Adam still thinks it's a prank but enters the address anyway. He is horrified to see a live web cam showing JR held by the throat all bloodied with Amanda screaming on the other side of the room. Adam is visibly shaken and afraid as he watches the screen suddenly go black. The script ends there.
There is also a little blurb that doesn't offer a whole lot showing Ava in some sort of dealing with Adam that somehow involves Colby. It doesn't go into detail. Adam is with Ava when he receives a call from Colby who is at the police station. Adam tells Ava that if her set up doesn't go down as planned, she owes him $500.00.
