Last night, after a delicious barbecue at my son's house, he gathered us all around the living room and annonced that they were expecting their second child in early November. I am so thrilled and excited for them, can't wait for another little one in the family.

I had suspected this for several weeks now, and shrieked with joy at the news, but of course, I HAD to say "I knew it!!" My d-i-l wasn't even drinking tea, opting for some herbal concoction that smelled funny. I figured it would have to be something really special going on to give up tea, of all things!

So here's a toast to my growing family, and my need for a bigger dining room!

P.S. We are off to attend a wedding this afternoon at a pool hall, of all places. My very prim and proper friend's son opted for this venue as an alternative to city hall, at his mother's request. I think my friend would have preferred city hall to a billiard lounge (albeit a fairly fancy one). We shall soon see. Should be kind of fun. The name of the place is "The Academy of Spherical Arts", LOL. We will be in La Belle Epoche room.
