I'm here! I can't get myself involved with myspace stuff - I have an addictive personality. My son that's in Australia has a Facebook page, so I registered there to access his stuff and I have to brace myself when checking it out so that I don't look at something I've deluded myself into thinking he'd never do....like his video on how to snorkel beer. Or his birthday celebration. There are some things a mother just shouldn't know...
That's some job you've got!! To think that they pay you to amuse yourself, lol. I'd hang on to it, even though it might be a bit boring!
I'll be around off and on until about 11, then I'm off to lunch and the hospital, shopping, then a concert my eldest is in - 1812 overture. I'd rather get out of going - it's really long and I'd rather be outside poking at meat on the grill than sitting in an auditorium listening to 4 hours of music.
oh, this is how bored I am....I spent all day yesterday and so far this morning hanging out over at SOC....and oh my goodness. I was at the AMC board for awhile and my oh my do those people complain. I dont think they will be happy until the show is completely Carey free....but then I head over to the Days one and people are oh so happy because Sami and Lucas yesterday were SO SWEET...its like night and day in comparison. I dont think I will ever be bored enough to venture into the OLTL one though, that place is frightening
I have been soooo sick. I think I got some food poisonng along the line. I was dehydrated and all. I mean being sick and adding to that the nursing thing. Ugh I lost 6lbs in just 2 days because of it.
Oh, Jess, be careful!! Has the doctor given you something for the dehydration yet? Maybe a couple of hours on an IV would help. And maybe little Aidan could gtake the bottle for a while until you're 100% back. I know that many young mothers today breast feed until the cows come home, but he's had a good 3 months, and it would allow you to get your strength back.
Shelly, of the 4 soap boards I used to frequently read, this is the only one left that is still in my bookmarks. I don't know what has happened, but message boards have become a cesspool of negativity, nastiness and agendas. Not here, however, mostly because none of us is that nuts, lol. The odd time I do visit TwOP, not posting, but scrounging for scoops, I leave feeling jaded and regretful that I'd wasted my time.
Go have a read in Laineygossip.com for fun. She always manages to spin some chuckles out of Hollywood nonsense.
kae and a lot of our lack for negativity is that we really dont talk about actual soaps as often...this board has a lot of life type discussions. Its great...
Yup Kae my doc gave me about 6 hours of IV rehydration I guess that's what you'd call it lol. THen he gave me some pills to keep what I take in ... in me lol. I'm feeling 100% better today now. Little guy had some cereal and juice yeterday while mom was outta commission. He was very happy when he got his mommy back though lol.
Shelly - maybe we all here realise that life is a hell of a lot more interesting than what's on soaps lately, lol. I taped Y&R today thinking I'd be at lunch then, but my friend called me to cancel saying she had to bail her step-son out of a huge mess he'd made for himself. He's quite badly developmentally challenged (I think that's th PC term for it) and had racked up a large credit card debt. he was so distraught over the dunning he started having seizures again. And after talking to my friend, I forgot all about the soap I had on.

My sneaky son changed his email, he got tired of me getting on his space, but I really wanted to check in on him. I think I'll leave him alone for a while
The thing is he had this really stupid leprachaun background, and I put a cool green guitar instead. Which he does like, but hates that I changed it!!
That's who I was missing. It was really starting to bug me because I noticed someone was missing, but I couldnt' figure out who. She was very rarely on her myspace as it was maybe she cancelled it.
Tess (Sophia) popped up briefly a few days ago, didn't she? She has a weird work schedule - has to get up at like 4 in the morning or something horrid like that in order to be at work on time.
