I tried yesterday to post a message on your myspace, but I kept having to reboot the computer, because your myspace page just froze me up completely. I tried!
LOL I got into a fight with my son's baseball coach on my birghday. Lol I put him in his place though. He was playing favorites and I called his butt out on it. The coach Cody had last year let everyone try any position. Cody tried first and was so good, that Kevin kept him there. Well, this young boy seems to think that because cody doesn't look like your normal athlete, he is no good. We went to a town about a half hour a way all day saturday and he sat the bench for all but one inning. The kid ha dthe nerve to bring kids up from a younger league and sti cody out for most of the freaking game. He played the next day for sure though. I still have to take care of the favorites thing because after that he let every single kid on the team play infield except for Cody. Of course he put one of the younger boys on 1st, who let a ton of the balls get past him. Now I'm not saying they should be pros or anything, but after the first inning of that he coudl have let Cody try at first. I hate to break it to this guy that mama don't play around. I have already called another ball team who says that if we get in touch with them in the next two weeks they will take Cody on their team, and I've talked to parents on that team and it's not a ton of competitive bull crap or favorites. Everyone gets to try the positions they want. Now if Craig (new coach guy) goes and puts my son through another game like this weekend (and makes him cry again ohhh that really did it for me you know today is the poor lil guy's birhtday and he's still heartbroken over how that jerk treated him), then I've decided I'll take him out in the middle of the game and leave them high and dry. THey only have just enough for a team so they'll have to quit after that. If he wants to use younger kids to play all of the positions, he can go right ahead. I'm not having my son put through crap like that.
You know, last year his team was so good. Everyone rotated really. His coach would pt the kids who play catcher out in the outfield for half of the game while they weren't behind the plate, and same with pitcher. Then every single kid on the team played outfield for at least one inning through out the year. His son was on the team last year and he even took him from first and put him on short stop because there was a kid (ok lol Cody) who was a little better at it, and his son was a darn good short stop. He's a lefty too I love to watch when he bats because for some reason at this age the other team just doesn't know how to handle lefty hitters yet. Anyways that's my rant. After the game we all went to Red Lobster and I had a delish Sunset Passion Colada, so I wasn't quite as ticked after that.
