I'm watching my tape from this morning (day ahead) and it's a really fun episode. Some random photographer taped the entire argument between Lily and Amber when Lily accuses Amber of sending her husband a picture of her naked breasts, and it gets aired at Extreme Catwalk. Both Daniel and Amber vehemently deny it, but Lily isn't buying their lies. And now Cane is suspicious of his wife, too. But she pulls out all the stops, turns on some tears and he caves in, says he believes her.
There are also some darn good scenes with Brad (!!!) and Sharon, and Phyllis and Jack.
Gah! Brad offers to file for a divorce from Victoria - he still loves her, wants the marriage to work, but he sees he makes her miserable. I wonder what his real motives for this divorce are.
Lily asks Daniel to pack up and move out of their house!
And Amber is going to be investigated re the boob photo, lol.
Shelly, I'm not sure whether or not Cane saw the boob pic, but I kind of think not. He really wants to believe Amber, though. He went up to her and in a soft and gentle voice asked her if she did it, and of course, she denied it. But somehow, I don't think Cane is all that dumb. He was up to something there a while ago, investigating Amber or something, no?
Cane and Lily - no thanks. He's too mature for her, although this latest little wrinkle in her life (husband a lying porn junkie) might wise her up a notch or two, lol.
I was expecting my husband to walk in the house 15 minutes ago, and he called me saying he was just now walking to the subway. He was "stuck" at work, tell me all about it when he gets home. I'm thinking he got stuck in an elevator because if he was buttonholed, he'd have said so. And he sounded slightly upset. Hmmmm.
and yeah, your probably right about Lily and Cane...he is cool and totally deserves better then Amber..though maybe they will eventually write her better. Im afraid she will probably return after her concert thing.
Lily really does need to grow up, you would think that with all she has been through that she would grow up a little
So the girl playing Amber will be off for a bit to do a concert? She's probably my least favourite character on Y&R ever, with the exception of Christine/Cricket, who I could absolutely never stand and couldn't understand why we were "supposed" to like her. She always had be walking away from her stuff. Oh well, she's gone now.
Amber is too campy for this show, I think. I've never watched B&B where I understand she's from. If only she were shown to have a vulnerable side she might be tolerable. When she snowed Cane yesterday with her crocodile tears, I felt like I'd rather Lily had taken a skillet to her head, lol. I think I'm really liking Cane these days. Love that we don't really know what he's up to, or if he's really onto his so-called wife. I hope he sticks around.
I'm scooting around the house with Y&R on, taping it, but it looks like JT and Victoria are launching into a big romance. They're dancing close, he's closing his eyes, holding her, etc. They're drinking wine at JT's place.....oops, isn't Victoria supposed to be pregnant again? Oh, definitely a romance here.
I'm starting to see a bit more of a connection between the characters, bearing in mind that they're married in RL.
Oh, and talk of Nick being alive (Noah).. OMG - Nick just appeared at Phyllis's door! Don't know if it's for real or a dream, but I have to leave now. Back later.
