Oh I have to grab the camera and upload the pics. The cermony was nice and quick and we stopped for a burger after, it was very nice. I didn't cry, well I always tear up for the National Anthem.
And today is his birthday, I can't believe he's 14!
he kind of looks like a hippie, likes the hair long this year
I wore my black flip flops and used crutches. I put a big band aid on the stitches so the flip flop wouldn't rub in the wrong spot
My shoulders are sore from the crutches
we have a party tomorrow, not sure if I'll wear the same shoes, or be able to tolerate something else, but I think I need to cover the stitches to avoid infection, they're in such a bad spot!
What a wonderful picture Christine! Congratulations on passing the monumental milestone of leaving grade school and junior high behind. In a few short months you will be the mom of a high schooler!
Enjoy these years, they go so quickly, one day you are dropping a freshman off at school, and it seems like a few short ones later, you are at another graduation, and then another!
Thanks guys. I wish he would smile, but maybe once the braces come off...
I have a feeling HS will fly by! He seemed like a grown up already, he came back from his field trip to great America, it was his birthday, he turned 14. All of a sudden it like I have a young man in my house!
But then there are those days he leaves his cereal box out and I have to nag 26 times. Or the times he aggitates his brother and sister. Then you wonder if they will ever grow up
Yeah, I'm drooling over the color of his hair, Tina! LOL...
Listen, as someone who watched a son grow up to be 6' 3", wait until you notice one day that you're actually looking UP to your "little boy". It's a very strange feeling...
