sarah received her HS diploma in the mail on friday. at the ceremony they acknowledged those graduating w/honors. her name wasn't called. when she questioned them at rehearsal they said she didn't qualify. go figure....4.0 GPA both semesters she was in the adult HS & she was asked to address her class at the ceremony (she declined as she hates public speaking lol).
well on the bottom of her diploma it clearly says she graduated WITH HONORS!!! maybe i should demand a written apology rofl.

And I can relate to your ire over the honours thing, too, but I'd let it go. She has honours on her diploma and that's what she'll need for future reference.
Congrats Kris! Sarah must be thrilled, and you must be feeling pretty special mom! Kudos to you for being there and supporting her the whole way, please take a bow with her!
pissed as i am about her not being acknowledged at graduation i was more or less kidding about the letter. UNTIL i mentioned it to jarrod yesterday & he said i should write the letter. usually he rolls his eyes & gives me an "oh, mom" when i get on a rant so it kind of surprised me. when i said something to sarah she also didn't shriek at me to not embarass her. so now i'm on the fence. lol
