So I was running errands today, went to Sears to pic up photos and while I was there got some shoes that won't rub the cut on my foot, (they gave me blisters anyway!)
We left sears for the doc to get stitches cut out. Got all the way there and realized I left my photos at the jewelry counter
Called 411, first guy transferred me to a recording that only gives hours. Second gal couldn't figure out what I meant when I said I wanted Sears in Joliet, not a recording. She kept saying but I have to ask you more questions, I said look this is kind of an emergency, I'm stuck in traffic and left something valuable there.
I ended up calling her a Fucking Bitch and hung up
Third call new gal transferred me to Sears Dental who then could not get me to Jewelry.
Finally I was at the damn store and my pics where there.
I noticed Sears did not list their phone on the receipt btw and the main number goes in loops.
I was really upset. I feel like a mental case now!
Oh and I did call back and complained to a supervisor to get all that money back, cuz I never did get Sears Jewelry department!
Ouch, it really sounds like you had a very frustrating day. Technology does not always work to facilitate life. Just think, in the old days at Sears there would have been an operator who directed that call. I worked at Sears when I was in high school, and one of my friends was the evening operator.
It seems like these days you either get an automated system, or a person who is a few continents away, who speaks limited English at best......
