I saw this on CBC news this morning and fell in love with it. We're going to replace one of the cars we have now with one of these babies as soon as they're available here, and the Canadian version will be allowed a slightly faster speed limit.
I'd love to see free parking at train and subway stations for all Zenn cars as an added incentive to reduce gasoline use.
My son Tony, who I sent this video to, wrote back that the Tesla and Chevrolet electric cars are much better. They go faster and for longer. He called the Zenn car a glorified golf cart. Hmph.
I don't know how much it woud cost to recharge these things, but it would have to be much cheaper than gasoline, not to mention the lack of emissions part. That's the real attraction for us.
