Ava offers to make it look like she's leaving voluntarily to spare Lily any heartache. Kendall reaches out to an emotionally wrought Greenlee when she finds her at Simones grave. Kendall reads the letter Simone sent Greenlee imploring her to return home and fix things with Kendall. Jonathan and Di learn that Ava spent the night at the boathouse. Sean takes Colby out on a very romantic date to the park. Tad is a busy cad as Jack's date, Milla, sees the charm to him, and Erica later delivers him a shocking proposition.

LIFE LESSONS
Amanda's anger grows as JR refuses to go along with any of her attempts to escape. JR reveals to Amanda that the kidnapping is a hoax he orchestrated, which earns him a slap. In utter desperation, Adam turns to Zach for help. Zach plays hardball with Chandler when he learns he needs his money to save JR. JR is turned on as a threatining Amanda demands a piece of the action he's going to pull in from his scam on Adam. Later, the couple bask in the the afterglow of their love-making and relish the thought of teaching Adam his lesson. The mood is soon dimmed as the duo realizes that they're no longer in control of the kidnapping. JR rages. Sure that he can find a way to reclaim it all later, Adam signs away absolutely everything he owns to Zach. Later, it becomes clear that Zach has been in cahoots with one of JR's less than loyal minions all along and has in fact pulled off the scam of a life-time. Amanda refuses to let JR beat himself up over his scheme falling apart. Adam waits at The Comeback to make contact with the kidnappers. Krystal sense her ex is upset about something and reaches out to him. Adam prays that his son is still alive. Without revealing his duplicity in the situation, Zach leads an overjoyed Adam to JR. JR wrings as Adam reveals that Zach helped him raise the ransom money...and that the transaction of assets to Slater has already gone through. Zach has Adam over a barrel.
