vicki was at the hospital when starr was brought in (by driver or maybe todd).. i don't have a problem w/vicki encouraging starr to pursue her heart. someone needs to be on starr's side in this.

I agree with that, and besides...on how many soaps have teenage love actually evolved into true love. Look at Nic and Emily as well as Liz and Lucky on GH
I just see no chemistry with Starr and Cole, it seems so forced, so I can't buy into this true love stuff. maybe if there really was something, like with Tess and Nash, I'd be on board
Tina, I think it's because Brandon Buddy isn't a very good actor and his scenes fall flat as a result. I suppose he was hired because of his looks (which don't appeal to me, but then that's just me). That kid playing Markko has way more talent than BB and his scenes with Langston sparkled in comparison to the Starr and Cole stuff. Now if they had cast the Markko kid as Cole, I think we all would be enjoying the teen business much more.
yeah imagine Markko as Cole, more of a bad-boy for Starr, would be much more interesting.... Really bad casting. I think it was supposed to be so taboo cuz he's Marty's son, but they relied on that too much. No one cares
