the other board got me thinking about how people say that this Todd (weak IMO) is the mature Todd
and yet look at Someone like Asa. At least 80 and still kicks ass, gets in trouble with the law, what have you! The point is, Todd can be the bad boy we all came to know and love, and no he does not need to act like the 19 year old rapist he was. He can act like a 40 year old man, who has matured, but still not only has back bone, but is someone NOT to be messed with!
I like Trevor, besides the fact that he is gorgeous I do like that he has softened Todd. I dont think the way Roger's portrayal was would have been as good as a parent as this Todd. I like that we have seen Trevor's Todd blow up because of certain events, but at the same time he shows a lot of tenderness, especially with Starr.
It's so fascinating how people's tastes can be so different!
I was, and still am, a HUGE Roger Howarth fan. I think that the guy was just brilliant as Todd, and I also think that there's something terribly magnetic about him personally. While he isn't classically good looking, I'm absolutely mesmerized by his face, and think that the power of his personality is terribly sexy.
TSJ leaves me nothing more than just lukewarm. I don't hate the guy, but he just isn't Todd for me at all. If he were cast in another role, I'd probably like him much better. Who was the slimy character he played at first? Not Walker, but the other one... I thought he did a magnificent job in that role, and I enjoyed seeing him in action, but he ain't Todd for me!
He doesn't push any of my other buttons either; never in a million years would I call him gorgeous...
But, to each his own!

Oh, was that the oily Flynn character? I liked Trevor's work with that guy, har, har. He played him so sleazy and that was fun.
But Roger is still Todd for me. I have pretty much the same reaction as Moore on the TSJ debate. I know some ladies find him dreamy but he has never done anything for me. And a darn good thing that we all have different tastes in men! Otherwise there'd be a darn small gene pool.
LOL! Just watching my OL tape and David asked John if he could borrow his toothbrush. Gawd, I love David!
