Tad refuses to help as Erica plots to make Jack believe her injury is more serious than it is. Zach agrees to let Kendall handle the situation with Greenlee in her own way but makes it clear to his wife that he will intervene if Greenlee does anything to hurt her or their baby. Annie vents to Kendall. Ryan warns a frisky Greenlee that she has to respect Annie's boundaries. Annie accuses Ryan of leading Greenlee on. Josh reads Greenlee's good mood. Colby asks Krystal for a summer job at the Comeback, unaware that her nemesis, Ava, is already employed there. A fed up Annie walks out on Ryan without giving him the chance to explain that he was just giving his ex the boot. Erica is aghast when Jack tells her she's dying...then quickly realizes he's playing her. Erica's fury soon turns to passion.

TICKING TIME BOMB OF DECEIT
JR's guilt soon turns to concern when Adam reveals that he contacted the FBI for help in locating the kidnappers and ransom money. Amanda doesn't make the situation any easier for JR as she lists her demands for her continued cooperation in his deception. Zach reminds Adam that time is running out for him to repay his debt. A desperate JR turns to Zach for help, unaware that Slater is in fact behind his plot going kaput. Adam reveals to JR that along with Zach, he was planning to steal the business from him, and further more that if the ransom money is not located soon Slater will end up controlling Chandler Enterprises. JR pieces it altogether and realizes Zach is the one ripping off his family. JR vows to stop Zach. JR is not pleased when Amanda reveals that she turned to Aidan for help in locating his not-so-loyal assistant, Seamus Wong. Kendall advises Amanda not to count on JR for anything, which prompts Amanda to schedule an appointment with Zach. Tad's praise increases JR's guilt over his botched scheme. JR is deeply touched by his father's support as the two men stand before the board members of Chandler Enterprises. Amanda strikes out with Zach. Kendall learns her husband is poised to take over everything that belongs to the Chandler men. Aidan grows suspicious when he sees Amanda with JR again and follows the duo. JR and Amanda have no luck locating Seamus, and Adam has even less luck coming up with the money to repay Zach. Zach gives Adam and JR notice that times up and takes possession of all their assets, including the mansion.
