I have today to myself until 4:30, unbelievable! Then I have to pick up hub from subway, go get my mother and drive her to a nearby hospital for a cat scan at 6:30, take her back to the convalescent centre, then home to make dinner. Looks like I'll be in the kitchen until about 8:30 again.

In the meantime, I have to strip the bed and put on a laundry, run to the market for fresh vegies (a daily routine) and contact a lawyer about power of attorney for my parents, make an appointment to go see a brand new retirement residence around the corner for mom and dad, wash my hair, and that's it.

Ted was up super early and made coffee whch is now dead cold, so I'll go put on a fresh pot. I only crawled out of bed half an hour ago and it's 9:54 already. Lazy day!

I'm just popping in before work. I need to work on my resume to take to Wyoming so Angie, my brother's fiance, can have it on hand to give to prospective employers when I make contact with them in the next six months or so.

I'm shooting for a goal of moving up there sometime right after Christmas. Maybe I'll ring in the new year in Wyoming. Who knows?!

Yeah for moving to Wyoming, Jojo!! You've wanted to do that for a while now. Gorgeous country there. Where do you plan to settle?

Oh, Shel, I'll make it in plenty for time for some of the white stuff! I'm a winter weather girl, and they sure get plenty of it up there.

Kae, I'm planning on settling in with my brother and his fiance (they'll be married this next week) for a while until I can get on my feet up there. They just moved into their brand new home they bought, and have already started calling the third bedroom Jodi's room and are looking for bunkbeds for Jackson and Carter.
They live in Gillette, which is in the northeast corner of the state. It's about 2 and a half hours from Grand Rapids, South Dakota and Mount Rushmore. About fours away in the northwest corner of the state is Yellowstone, so I'm sure I'll be visiting there too. And, since there is only one state separating Wyoming and Canada, I may realize my lifelong wish to travel to Canada.

Okay, sorry I can't stay long, I have to get the clothes up to the laundry mat so they can dry. My stupid dryer broke. HMMPH.

I'll talk to you all later!

Hey, Jojo! You have a sofa-bed in my family room with your name on it! And a big comfy sofa for Jackson, so come on up any time, okay?

Not Jodi here - guess she's off to the laundramat. Jodi lives in the southwest corner of Oklahoma and drives across the stateline a few minutes to work. I think, could be off there, but I do remember that she doesn't live in Texas, unless she recently moved.

Okay, thanks!

Shel, I live in Ashdown, Ark. It's about 10 minutes from the Texas border. It's in SW Ark. However, Kae, you were close! It's about 30 minutes from the Oklahoma border!! I work in Texas though. I work in a city that straddles the Texas/Arkansas state line. It makes for double the work.

Finished the clothes, and now I'm off to get ready for work. I'm hoping this downpour stops before I have to go back outside!
