Okay, I'm terrible at uploading pictures, but I'll give it a try...
Lucy will be eleven in November. She's a Border Collie mix, but what she's mixed with, we don't know. Maybe some kind of Spaniel...
Anyway, she's had an upset stomach lately, so we took her to the vet. She's fine, but when they sent her home, they had put on this bandana! This was last week, and we had finally taken it off. Yesterday afternoon, it was just BEAUTIFUL here, so my husband and I were sitting outside on our front patio. Lucy came with us, and my husband decided to take a few pictures.
I think that she looks very festive, just in time for the Fourth of July holiday.
She IS an awesome dog, but she's also really BAD! That's the Border Collie in her; they're all just crazy smart. Smart means trouble, and she has no conscience either.
Wouldn't trade her though. She's also very sweet...

What a sweetie! My dear friend, Anne, who died 10 years ago next week, also had a Border Collie named Lucy! She was the craziest, busiest dog ever! Whenever I went to Anne's for tea, her doggie would pester me constantly to throw her tennis ball across the room. I was forever washing all the doggie snoggle off my hands!
