can someone tape Aug 17 for me?

The only episode I want to catch all Summer and I'll be going for a weekend away for my F-I-L 80th bday!

I'll see if I can't figure out how to get my DVR to send data to my PC

I'll be on an airplane to Phoenix, but I'll set up my Tivo. (Is this Asa's demise?)

I can transfer the Tivoed episode to a VCR tape, and mail it to you... HOWEVER, I'll be in Phoenix for several days, so you won't get the tape for about a week after the episode has aired.

(My youngest daughter is returning to college as a sophomore, and she and her dad are driving out together (four days) so that she can have her car. I'm flying out on the 17th to meet them. Then, we'll be helping her get set up in her apartment)

Thanks Moore, seems like she just came home from college.

I had to buy some stuff for my son, he's going to band camp this August

Moore, I hope the heat wave in Arizona is over by then for you. It's a billion degrees there right now, just horrible! Those poor people living there, and in Las Vegas, too. UGH!

And yep, it's Asa's funeral. Lots of good reasons to watch that day!

sadly I can tell you that the heat wont be gone by then. August and September are usually the hottest time of the year. But thats why man invented AC.

We were in Arizona last August when we took our daughter out for the first time, and it was HOT!!! I'm afraid that Shelly's right, and there won't be much relief. We'll just have to do our best to stay in the air conditioning as much as possible.

However, Washington, DC isn't much better than that during the month of August, and we have 250% humidity here! (Okay, maybe not that much, but close...)

Tina, you're right. She DID just get home in May, but this summer has gone by so fast with her houseguest, my husband's surgery, and then her wisdom teeth/hospitalization crisis, job, etc., etc., that it's just flown by.

I remember the days when schools and colleges didn't start until after Labor Day in September. I wish that were still the case...
