Sorry to all who thought my previous signature was offensive. I sometimes forget i'm on a board of 98% women. I am not a troublemaker or troublestarter and would've had no problem if someone pmed me and aksed me to remove it. I apologize for any discomfort it might have cause or for any demerits, or writeups it may possibly have gotten someone at work. It was not meant to be so.
Please forgive me and I ask that what I had up as my sig not make you think less of me or think I think less of women or have less respect for them than I do. I always help a woman when I can, I hold doors open for them, I offer to help carry things for them if it looks like they need it.
I always have and always will respect women and nothing has changed. Yes, I am a guy and love woman and am visual and love seeing women dressed in a sexy like manner but all guys do but that doesn't change how I believe in honoring, cherishing and respecting them.
Well I guess that's all please accept my apologies and i'll try to remember the makeup of the board i'm on more often. Heh, heh, I guess i've become so friendly and use to you ladies that I forget sometimes you're not guys and thats my fault.
Hey that's a good thing though I think, it means the board feels like home and I think thats what you wanted and i'll try and make sure it continues to feel like home and that everyone feels comfortable and welcome here unlike that place where we came from.

Honestly, Herbst, I wasn't the least offended but it's very sweet of you to think an apology was in order. Like Moore, I don't remember anything you'd said as being even remotely off, and I do read the board.
We're not a particularly thin-skinned group around here, anyway, LOL. Some of us well-seasoned ladies would have to be really affronted to get the least riled up. And no one here is like that, anyway.
It was not anything that Herbst said.... What happened was that on Friday, while I had the board up on my PC at work, someone walked by my cubicle and spotted his banner.
They saw it out of the corner of their eye, and thought that I was on a porn web site. Needless to say, it was not really a good scene.....
So I asked if it could come down, because I love to come out here during the day, and work has eased up on the restrictions and I can actually get to this site now.
I don't know if anyone was offended here, but in work situations you always have some trouble maker that's going to make a mountain out of a mole hill, so it was very gallant of you to remove it!
You and that's funny, working at a software security company, no one really gives a second glance to something like Herbst' old banner or even worse, a lot worse. In fact we have an entire department that surfs those sites just to find spyware and viruses. LOL.
Herbst, thanks for changing it up. We just want to make sure the board is as accessible for everyone as possible. And hey, if something really does offend you, let that person or one of us admins type and we'll address it. But hopefully the only "Not Safe For Work Section" will be the Naughty Mat, thus why it's labeled that. LOL.
