Hey everyone. Where are you today. I cant believe its only Tuesday. I have lots of work to do around the house so I really dont want to be here today. I just applied for like 10 jobs, everyone pray that someone calls me. I even applied at Chuck e Cheese. How fun would that be..haha.
Anyways, my husband just told me that when he gets back next Saturday from school, he will turn around and be flying to Seattle the following Monday. Argh that stinks.
Lets see - I just got home a half hour ago, photocopied a bunch of papers (taking care of parents' financial goof-ups with bills, aargh), tried programming my mother's new remote control and after an hour, I gave up. Damn thing - I've done that a dozen times here, don't know why hers wouldn't work, made some phone calls regarding help for mom and dad, found out that the agency my father favours charges $26.50 an hour, arranged to pick up my husband at the subway at 4:45 today and I have to get gas. I hate paying $1.04/litre!
Then I got a call from Guyana from a lady who has an agency placing live-in personal care workers for the elderly. I was impressed that she called me all the way from South America. Her assistant only told me that she was out of town. I'll say!
Hub wants burgers for dinner, so I'm off to get his favourite buns. And my friend Marilyn wants me to stop by her place so she can give me her old phone accesories - she bought a new one and we used to have the same mobile models. Mine's archaic but at least it works well, sort of.
Happy Tuesday. It's really hot and muggy here again today. I should rememeber this come February when I start complaining about the ice and snow. No pleasing me, I guess.
