Another audition script has just been released by ABC for the role of Morgan (Todd's attorney).
The scene opens in a courtroom with Morgan objecting to the way his client's character was just called into question. He apologizes for Todd's outburst but explains to the court that Todd was just accused of something rather outrageous and reacted understandably. Todd suddenly shouts out "How could I have tried to kill my own kid when I haven't ever been alone with him"! The judge warns Todd to sit down or he will be removed. Morgan demands that the court produce evidence to prove this incredible allegation. The judge looks at Judy and says "Miss Shulman-Brown"? Judy suddenly holds up a file that Rex gave her and says "with a lot of good old fashioned sworn testimony your honor".
Morgan immediately interjects that nothing produced could trump Todd's rights to his own child. That he never gave him up and wanted to raise his child. That this nullifies the McBain's adoption of the child they now call Tommy.
Judy goes on to say that she has a sworn deposition from Dr. Spencer Truman regarding his treatment of Todd after a stab wound he received in 2005. Morgan objects on the grounds of breaking doctor/patient confidentiality. Judy says that it's a matter of public record now in another trial taking place. The judge nods and tells Judy to go ahead. Todd grabs Morgan and tells him that he has to stop this. Morgan says that there is nothing he can do. That he has been overruled. Judy goes on to say that Todd told Spencer that he tried to strangle Margaret knowing she was pregnant with his child. Morgan objects on the grounds that Spencer Truman is dead and can't be cross examined. That he was about to let Todd go to his death for a crime he didn't commit shortly afterwards.
Todd is visibly upset and asks Morgan if he could lose his son. If they could lose this case. Morgan tells Todd that Judy has a strong case and says "she's got us on the run". Scene ends.

yeah, maybe the new lawyer will be a looker too. That would be nice. Though I dont want him to win...I suspect a lot of this rests on whether or not Kathy Brier decides to leave like it was suspected
