A large transformer exploded. Police do not believe that there was any terrorism involved. No deaths at this time have been reported.
Oh I hope that they dont find anything after the investigation to lead them to think it was something intentional. Man New York cant catch a break for anything. I bet any kind of explosions that they have after 9/11 brings back horrible memories
See and this just goes to show that any explosion or anything out of the norm will get an immediate reaction of "It's terrorists, it's terrorists". This is why the plots worked. This is what all the little fuckers on the planes wanted. Create fear and cause us to derode our freedom by our insane paranoia. People have been polled that are willingly to do away with their freedom of speech so long as it helps catch the bad guys. That's not patriotism, that's completely and utterly moronic.
Plane crashes, was it terrorists? Drunk driver crashes into a store and there's a big old fire, that could have been terrorists? It's that fear that people got instilled with and haven't shaken and frankly it's pathetic and sad. This is why I hate news stories like this. Once again sensationalism helps feed more paranoia.

Well, according to people who witnessed it and were in the area, they immediately flashed back to 9/11, they said it all sounded so similar. So, it's not just the big, bad media, Bran. I saw a lot of first account interviews, and they all brought up 9/11...not the journalists.
