Niki and Victor have a huge argument and at the end, Niki slams the door as she announces that she is leaving him! In this case, I'm siding with Victor.
Jana's lawyer is claiming that because of the brain tumour, she isn't fit to stand trial. And Cole continues to dig into his "marriage" to Amber. He's starting to put together just what a wretched little liar she is.

Yeah, I meant Cane, not Cole. Oops! In the preview, Victor vows to Nick that he's going to bring NVP down and leave Niki with nothing, just the same as she had when they first met.
Now that's a bit extreme! Obviously Victor is going to expect Nick to support HIM and Niki will expect Victoria to support HER. OY, here comes the mess.
I hope that after the way Nikki treated Victoria that she doesnt stand by her. Nikki was horrible. And it is extreme what Victor is doing, but it is Victor Newman we are talking about
Yeah, I really do sympathise with Victor this time. He begged his wife not to run for senate, learned she had kissed David, and then to top it off, she neglected to tell him about the Jabot sale to Katherine. He felt betrayed, and I would too.
OTOH, he did leave her to go off on a jaunt looking for Victor Jr. (who we haven't heard a word about) and didn't answer her calls. But I think he was smarting over her pig-headedness about the senate thing. He was "paying her back" for not respecting his really strong feelings about her political aspirations. Then we saw Niki's big ego get into the mix, her stinking tricks with Victoria...I don't want to see Niki and Victor split up again, but this is the first time that I really think it's all Niki's fault.
and in all fairness to Victor he was mourning Nick. Everyone mourns differently, he chose to mourn by finding and saving the son he had left. So yeah, it sucks he left but it makes sense
Good point. But I wondered why the Victor Jr. story was just dropped. And Logan is supposed to be written out soon, too. Nick was spoiled to fall in love with her. Guess that's another s/l they decided against.
I have to hand it to Y&R for dumping something if they don't see it working well.

I think they started the thing with Victor Jr thing was started in case Joshua Morrow didnt resign. And it did make it possible for Eric Braden to be written out for whatever it was he had to do. Hopefully we will see more of Victor Jr some day. The show could use more hot lookers.
