I can't believe they're bringing this back and not SoapTalk! I suppose its ok even though I only ever watched a show or two of any season but I liked SoapTalk better. Its a soap network. A talkshow about soaps is a natural.

Even weirder, the winner gets to go to Salem. ABC sponsored channel's programming creates a character for NBC's soap. Can't get stranger then that.

what stinks about this show is that the only good actors to come out of it didnt even win. The first winner I think was a good actor but boy did he get jipped. Alec Musser on AMC is a good actor but hasnt had a storyline since Del came back. Both him and Di got the short end of the storyline stick on AMC. And lets not even go there with the guy they stuck on OLTL. I dont mind that he got shafted because he really wasnt that good of an actor.

And while its kind of weird that an ABC owned channel will cast someone for an NBC show, its not any weirder then an ABC owned channel airing NBC and CBS shows.

Hopefully Sheffer on Days will write for the next star better.

oh yeah, and if SoapNet wont bring back Soap Talk, why cant we have Ty Treadway (?) come back to OLTL. Troy and Nora were hot

I'd have no problems with Ty coming back he was interesting.
