I kind of think thats rediculous. Sure they shouldnt have done it, but a simple detention would have sufficed. Not criminal charges. Especially since a girl said that they all do it all the time...

Considering all the kids are doing it to each other, boys and girls, boys and boys, apparently girls and girls, and we see this happen in baseball, basketball, football, etc.... what the hell? I mean seriously.

Well, not only is it horrible that these young boys had to spend time at juvenile detention, but to carry a lifetime label as a SEX OFFENDER??? Come on...

I think that people have forgotten what it was like to be 13, and horse around, frequently inappropriately, during that awkward stage of growing up!

Hell, half the things that we did to each other in Jr. High and High school would have gotten us expelled today and probably some misdemanor charges. They always chalked it up to kids being kids. Guess that's not the rule of thumb any more.

I don't think it should be a crime, but it should be stopped

When I was in 8th grade some boys thought it was funny pulling girls' shorts down. My dad marched up to the school when he heard about it, and had a nice long talk with the teacher. there was no punishment, nothing like that story!

I think that this is different because it says that the girls were doing it too. Had it only been the boys then maybe something more...but certainly not criminal charges

totally ridiculous! a simple suspension would have handled the situation just fine.

.....then again i don't believe a 17yo having consensual sex w/a 15yo deserves to be labeled a sex offender either.

these things are getting carried way too far.
