Um, okay... Let's see!

Medications

An extra couple of sets of clothing because you just never know

Shampoo/conditioner/all skin care products

Make up (I realized when I arrived at my ten years reunion that I'd left all of my cosmetics at home!!!)

Hair dryer

Cell phone

Phone numbers for family and friends, plus neighbors because you just never know.

Shoes

Credit Card

ID

Hairbrush, toothpaste, toothbrush

Whatever relaxes you, like magazines, books, needlework

Snacks for travel/toys

I'm sure that we'll think of other items to add to the list! Have a GREAT trip...

A list of websites if they aren't in your head.

Water bottles for the drive.

Coins for toll roads.

Maps!!

you guys are making me feel lots better. I have most of what you all said. I dont use a blow dryer, so thats a easy one.

and this board is the only website that I have had troubles in the past remembering and Brandon said he would email me if I needed it.

I just got back from a study group for church and got lots of prayers.

Im mostly concerned about the drive down there, and I actually sorted my change this afternoon so that I would have quarters.

Shelly -- I spent the day babysitting for my nephew's three kids, about 40 minutes from here, and I'm not sure whether or not we're going back out there this weekend.

Do you have any idea when you might be passing through here? You said Sunday, right...??? I'll send you a private message.

Listen, you just have a SAFE trip! That's the only thing that matters.

Try not to stress about forgetting something, and remember that you can purchase whatever you forget.

Don't forget an extra pair of sunglasses. I always forget my sunglasses! Oh, don't forget sunblock, that is another one that I am notorious for forgetting, along with my toothbrush.

Something to think about for the next time you take a road trip is getting an Ezpass for tolls. Here in Massachusetts, they are called Fast Lane transponders. The tolls are automatically debited from your account, and they can be used in a ton of states these days, up and down the east coast. I have one on my car, and it makes traveling on toll roads quicker (you go through the toll plaza at 15 MPH) and less stress free, trying to figure out how much the toll is, and getting the money out.

Have a great trip!

Sophia

Thanks everyone. I think that with my sister moving to VA I will have more of a reason to get the EZPass. You are right it is SO much easier. Though I have driven down there enough that I know its about 20 bucks to get all the way down. I think that th GW Bridge is free going down but its like 50 cents coming back through, weird huh.

Anyways, you guys have been awesome. The place I am staying at Sunday night is the house of an engineer so he better have a computer, I will catch up with you all then

Hey Shelly! I'm glad to see that your trip has progressed so well so far! How is the heat out there? You have missed a whole ton of humidity and general grossly warm sticky summer weather here in New England.

Shelly -- I thought of you on Sunday! Did you have to drive through that pouring rain here?

yes the rain was horrible. And of course so was the traffic. I almost went through an entire tank of gas in the trip from Fort Meade to Va Beach and that never happens. Usually I can make it down and back up with one tank. Argh I am thinking of going through the eastern shore of Maryland on my way back up. Its faster and I dont have to drive through DC

Oh, don't even mention the Eastern Shore to me, Shelly! I haven't been there in a while, and now your mentioning it is making me want to spend about a week there, lying on the beach, and listening to the ocean.

Yeah, I'd take that route. Much more peaceful...

it is better, but I have to add the 12 bucks to go through the bay bridge so that stinks. But it takes away the stress of DC. I have never actually stayed in Ocean City but would love to. I kind of think it will be a good half way point once Sharon is living in VA Beach. Though I would rather meet in Hershey
