Marty and the "I did it, I killed Spencer" is a huge turn-off for me. She stands around, chin quivering, thrashing her breast over her poor Cole - OMG, just not compelling story telling.
We all know she didn't do it, that the real killer will be revealed at the end of this month, a woman, one we all know. So why go through all this wailing? BTW, I still think that Addie killed the doc.

in actuality martie has the perfect defense. if she murdered spencer it was in defense of blair's life as she had reason to believe he would have killed her eventually. the violence of the attack & her failure to step forward are explained by PTSD. it wouldn't take more than a week for even a crappy lawyer to get all charges dropped. and where in hell has her psychiatrist disappeared to? she can certainly testify to the PTSD & supressed memories.
