The kids are settled in, working two jobs, saving money for travel later on. December and January are the school summer holidays and not the best time to see the sights, so they'll keep plugging along and probably head to Melbourne after that. Two more Toronto friends are heading down this week and will stay with Nick and Laura. I can't believe what a big flippin' deal it is for kids to head down there for their gap years. What the heck ever happened to Europe? (Tres passe, I was told, lol.)

There are some nice pics of the apartment, Justin Timberlake, the big horse race thing and car racing. Ozzies love their diversions.

Nick was delighted to find Kraft Mac and Cheese, but look at the price of it! No wonder bus boys (called glassies down there) get paid $25/hour.
