Posted: Sun Aug 05, 2007 5:03 am Post subject: Lindze Letherman will continue working at ABC. Her recent publicity stunt was unnecessary as they need to pair Bradford Anderson's Damian Spinelli. The character of Georgie is currently the only character on the canvas that can compliment Spinelli's sweet and inexperienced nature.
Stuart Damon has the option to continue on as a recurring character. If he continues the ghostly man will haunt his wife Monica.
Annie Wersching has not and at this point will not sign a contract with GH. She is a valued actress, hence her extended stay since May. Her departure from GH should coincide with November sweeps.
There is currently no Brenda Barrett recast. ABC is still searching as Vanessa Marcil will be with Las Vegas this season.
Kelly Monaco is not leaving General Hospital for 4 months. Her contract will be up for re-negotiation in 4 months. She will be on screen regularly through November Sweeps according to her daytime obligations. ABC is more than fulfilling their obligations to put her in some guest spots, which should appease her agency. Rumors have it that Monaco will not and does not want to leave daytime as of right now, but like I said, those are rumors.
Scott Clifton may have a few guest spots on General Hospital depending on the reception of the Spinelli and Georgie courtship.
Genie Francis is currently not being sought for the upcoming stories.
There is only one female, new female, on Night Shift that will definitely move onto the parent show.
Latest cast calls have been tedious in search for new mob rivals. Along with the current story, GH is also looking to replace what was lost with Lorenzo Alcazar.
Robert LaSardo was approached to return but declined.
