Today was a day about relationships - Victor, Niki, Jack, Sharon, Nick and Phyllis, and Ji Min and Jill.
Jill breaks up with Ji Min when he confesses that he'd been lying to her all this time. Phyllis, realising that Nick is still in love with Sharon, asks him to divorce her if she gets the maximum sentence so that he can go on with his life and be happy. Jack tells Phyllis that he's never been happier and has truly fallen in love with Sharon, while Phyllis warns him that Sharon has a pattern of running to another man whenever there's trouble and this time she'll go to Nick.. Meanwhile, Sharon confides in Neil that she's falling in love with Nick all over again.
And in a really good scene, Victor explains to Nick his position with Niki and why he's so unhappy with her behaviour. He said that while he was financing Jack's senate campaign, Niki chose to run against him, kissed another man and it was all over the internet, but did he throw her out? No, she chose to move out because she said she couldn't live with him. So who's being unreasonable here? Nick agrees that Niki is the unreasonable one. It was a "don't miss" moment.
There was a lot of business talk, Katherine being crusty and harsh, Niki acting her uppity worst self (the pride goeth before the fall bit), Cane being resonable and professional... a good episode.
