THIS WEEK ON "GENERAL HOSPITAL" Trevor gets Ric to drop the charges against Kate. Jax and Carly begin to see things eye-to-eye. Nikolas continues his odd behavior when he threatens Doctor Russell's career after he sees Emily being reprimanded. Spinelli saves Holly, Kendra, and Bridget from E! Networks' "Girls Next Door" series during a fantasy he has of Lulu. Logan and Lulu are on the verge of making love, but Maxie puts a stop to that and finds herself in Logan's bed instead. Sonny is deeply affected after catching Kate in Trevor's arms.
A MARRIAGE FALLING APART? Emily tells Elizabeth that she suspects Sam is trying to seduce Lucky. Lucky tries to make things work between he and Elizabeth. Although Elizabeth swears that Jason is out of her life for good, Elizabeth begins to question whether she and Lucky should remain husband and wife. Ignoring Jason's warning to kill her if she threatened Elizabeth again, Sam begins a new phase in her plan for revenge against Elizabeth.
D2D PreVUE Tuesday: Sonny tries to get Kate to see the "real" Trevor Lansing. Wednesday: Jax and Carly's happiness is interrupted. Thursday: Trevor's threat forces to make a big decision regarding Molly.
SPECIAL NOTICE Due to the Labor Day holiday, an encore presentation of "General Hospital" from February 19, 2007 will air in place of an original telecast on September 3, 2007. The storyline at the time dealt with the hostage situation at the Metro Court (see episode recap below).
EPISODE RECAP Nikolas is frantic to realize Emily is still inside the Metro Court. Elizabeth comes to and is relieved to find herself with Jason, even though they're trapped in the elevator. Elizabeth and Jason share a warm moment but she soon becomes afraid that she might be going into labor. Sonny and Carly pull each other close once she comes around. Lulu and Spinelli remain unseen by Lucky and the rescue team. Sam tells Nikolas and Alexis that Jason had infiltrated the hotel and credits him with saving her life. Nikolas races to Emily's side when she makes it out of the hotel. After checking its contents, Mr. Craig (now Jerry Jacks) rearms the briefcase and is able to free himself from the debris. The briefcase goes flying when Sonny shoots Mr. Craig in the chest with a gun he recovered. Carly gets the briefcase but Mr. Craig reveals he's wearing body armor. Dillon comes through for Luke. Mac turns a blind eye when Luke insists on going inside to search for Lulu. A semi-conscious Spinelli is dragged through the lobby but his warning comes a little too late as more debris begins to rain down on the remaining survivors. Lulu has yet to be discovered. Maxie lies and claims that Three (now known as Cooper) is one of the hostages. Alan regains consciousness and feels as though he hasn't given enough love to Jason.
