Starr and Langston jot down their hopes for the new school year. When Clint advises Dorian not to meddle in Langston's life, she tells him not to butt into Jessica's. Marty is delighted when she receives her annulment papers. After observing John and Marty locking lips, Miles is in shock while Natalie ends up boozing it up with Jared. Dorian doesn't try to sugarcoat Todd's past actions when talking to Blair.
A MOTHER'S HEART IS BROKEN John breaks the news about Tommy to a heartbroken Marcie, while making it look as if Michael has heard the news for the first time. After learning of John's recent actions, Bo suspends him from the LPD, and is concerned about Lindsay. Todd's sentence is suspended in favor of community service and a steep fine; meanwhile Miles agrees not to press charges. When Marcie's plea to Todd falls flat, their lawyer Judy informs them that the only way to keep Tommy is to highlight Todd's background. Marcie and Michael must comply with a court order demanding a DNA test for Tommy, and later hire Rex to investigate Todd's seedy past misdeeds.
D2D PreVUE's for the week of September 17 Monday: Rex provides Marcie and Michael with the ammunition they need to bring down Todd. Tuesday: Blair goes after Rex. Wednesday: Todd's past comes back to bite him in the butt.

I could see Todd losing Tommy if they bring up his past! Oh yeah, just one thing from his past. Like when he sold Jack or planted a bomb in the police station, or any number of other crimes. That might make it very interesting.
