Friendship blossoms between Babe and Wes. Tad and the others at the Comeback are sobered to realize it is the anniversary of 9/11. Aidan is attacked and robbed of the "mystery" locket on his way to his date with Greenlee. JR rushes Ava to the hospital after she collapses in his arms. The prison therapist that treated Annie's brother insists that Ritchie is Annie's victim and further implies to an angry Ryan that his wife is the one who's really mentally unstable.

THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW
There's little Zach can do to comfort Kendall who reels after Spike suffers a severe allergic reaction due to the vitamins she gave him. Later, Slater's heart breaks for his wife when he finds her trying to imagine what life will be like for her little boy. With more pressing matters on his mind, Zach agrees to give Adam back the mansion, which doesn't seem to ease Chandler's ire as he vows to get even with everybody who has underestimated him. Zach dismisses Kendall's belief that she's failing her sons and convinces her to "kangaroo" with Ian. After dealing with a determined Greenlee whom he spots watching his wife and son's private moment, Zach returns to his office to the surprise of finding Hannah waiting for him; meanwhile, Mrs. Slater arrives to confront Greenlee.
