Oops! I was going to start a thread about my job, but I totally spaced and forgot! LOL. Thanks for the congrats everyone.

Starting Sept. 17, I will be a claims adjuster for Progressive Insurance. I'm very nervous, mainly because of those two 2-week training sessions.
Kae, the sessions will either be in Phoenix, Tampa or Cleveland. I don't know yet. And yes, my sister in law and brother have said they will take care of Jackson.
I will be attempting to purchase a laptop before I go though, because I can't be living without internet for that long so far from home, LOL.

I'm most excited about this being a new career opportunity, and the pay. I will be making $36,400 a year starting out, which is leaps and bounds above the $22,000 I was making as college-graduated journalist.

So, only one more week of bumming around the house for me! Which is good, because I was getting bored.

congratulations, jojo. i'm sure you're counting the ways your dollars will stretch.

you need the laptop b/c you will want to work from home. look into using it for tax deduction reasons.

Jess, tell her to go to Progressive.com. They have listings of what is available in what cities. She can upload a resume, and someone would likely contact her soon after by e-mail, to fill out an actual application, and/or to schedule a test. They make you take this skill and personality test.They're not hard.
