My only problem here is anyone that holds a banner that says "Free them" etc. They committed a crime, they should be punished. Being black and getting harsher charges doesn't mean they should be freed because of "racial" inequality or whatever. That is the stupid part of this entire thing.

I think its really sad that there are still places in this country where kids hang nooses on trees because black kids sat under it when its supposed to be a "white" tree. Thats not in the article but I guess it was in some kind of article yesterday cause the ladies on the View were talking about it.
I hate Jesse Jackson, but am glad that he is involved in this case. I dont think that they should be tried as adults at all. The judge was right when he said that the one case should have been handled in juvenile court.
They should be punished, though the white kids who hung the nooses should have been more then suspended. I just dont think that they should be charged as adults.
I agree with Shelly. The kids should be punished, but they should be punished fairly no less no more than any other person around. The other kids should be punished as well, and no slap on the wrist that's for sure. It's moronic behavior such as that which ignites hatred (on both sides), violence an dpossible even worse.
