Do you have a water park nearby? That's always fun on a hot day.
I've got a hell day of 6 errands, one of them is taking a bunch of bills for Nick (the son in Australia) to my son, Tony, for scanning and sending down to Nick. Gah. You'd think his being on the other side of the planet woud give us a parenting break, but nope. And I have to do his banking as well. And take mom to hair dresser, organise party rental glasses and stuff (my father insists on having a little recepetion on September 29 - don't get me started), pick up Chloe's prescription refill, finish the laundry, buy dinner groceries, reschedule a fracture clinic appointment for mom that I missed on the 19th, make an appointment for doggies' grooming and somehow get a pile of mail to Mike down at the university. He's swamped with reading, lives smack in the middle of the campus and the traffic there is horrible. We'll meet somewhere on the subway line.
Oh, Tina, can you take the kids to the lakeshore beaches if no water park? I don't know the shoreline in your neck of the woods, but there must be public parks on the shore of the lake you could access, non? They could have hotdogs or whatever the street vendors are peddling these days, and a cold bottle of juice, an ice cream stick.....it's been a while since I had to amuse little ones for a whole day. Poor Tina!!
Oh that would be a good idea, but the water parks all close on Labor Day and the shoreline is quite a hike and downtown, which means an expensive excursion. I love going to navy Pier in Chicago though. If I had money, we could have taken the train, traffic is a nightmare.
I think I'd like to live near a smaller big city. Like Atlanta....
Maybe we'll just all hang out. zach is still in bed, and ryan just got out of the shower. Gabi might have her friend over
I had another insane day in the office trying to wrap-up my job. I did not fall asleep until 1 am, and I slept in until 5 am, which meant that I had a 1 1/2 hour commute into the office and a 2 hour commute home. Getting out of Boston after 4 pm is a nightmare.
I don't feel so bad about my crazy day at the office after reading KaeEll's list of activities, I definitely think she had a tougher day than mine!
It's going to be a great weather weekend up here in Massachusetts. I'm planning on power washing my fence, which is finally repaired, and doing some more acorn removals, along with taking a few naps.
Well, we got an unexpected check in the mail for a good deal of money. So today we went on the hunt for Christmas goodies, and some other various stuff. It was quite the day. We got some wonderful deals at the Children's place. I even stayed 50.00 under my budget there, so of course I splurged on some shoes for mom lol. Tomorrow will be another hectic day, I have to figure out how to get transportation for the washer and dryer set that we are picking up tomorrow.
