David and Niki go over proposals from businesses for Clear Springs when she gets a call from someone to turn on the TV - it's Jack announcing that Jabot and NVP will be allies once again. Niki's pissed, and mostly at Victor for releasing the tape of Jack.
Neil comments to Victor that Jack is cooked. Victor says more like roasted. Meanwhile, Jack tells Sharon and Noah that he's going to go ahead with the press conference.
Gloria gloats to Kevin about Jack's situation. Kevin advises his mother to lay low lest they be linked to the release of the tape. Gloria's still quite pleased with herself.
Jack asks to have his press conference turned into a town hall meeting so that he can address his constituents questions. Jack questions about who was taping his private meetings? (It was, of course, Gloria and Kevin.)
Uck - Gloria's still planning her ideal revenge on Jack, returning all the favours he did for her.
Kevin gets a call from Jana who's been transfered to the state prison, wants to see him. is sorry for pushing him away.
TRACY!! She and Colleen discuss C's relationship with her father.
Niki tells David she hates Jack. David tells her to calm down, play it cool, let him protect her and her investment in Clear Springs.
Victor's aware his actions may cause Niki to lose everything. Neil mentions the timimg, Victor says that's how you do business - it's all in the timing!
Kay stops Jack, demands that he must leave her name out of this - he OWES her. Jack disagrees, accuses her of taping him in the board room.
Brad finds Sharon at GCAC, makes digs about Jack, insists he be there for Sharon so she won't have to go through this alone.
Phyllis calls Jack, talk about who beat him to the punch (in releasing the tape/info), then she gives him a pep talk. He really appreciates that. Just then, Tracy and Colleen show up to support him.
Kevin visits Jana in prison, hugs, guard stops them from kissing. She was found competent to stand trial and she chose to come there as all pre-trial holding places were full, so it was there or far away. Says she deserves to suffer for what she had done to him.
Gloria again - accosts kay in CL, bad mouths Jack to her. Kay doesn't want to attend the press conference or speak to anyone until it's over. Gloria claims that she and Kay are kindred spirits, lol.
Brad's also in gloating mode over the Jack thing. Colleen is going to support her uncle and they argue, she calls him judgmental and a hypocrite.
Jack asks his wife and sister to leave the press conference and avoid the humiliation - he'll go to that podium by himself.
Jack takes the podium and tells all about his purchase of Jabot, Ji Min's involvement, and his choice to step in and take action to save the company his father built. (Good job, Jack!! Well done!)
Tracy smiles with pride, Sharon looks on lovingly. (They apparently didn't take Jack's advise to beetle off.) Then Victor shows up looking smug and very pleased with himself.
Gloria and Kay again, chit chat about the conference. Kay needs to talk to Michael and to the husband of the woman who died after using the tainted cream, because that's where this whole nightmare began. Gloria stares straight ahead.
Niki's losing investors in Clear Springs, curses.
Jack defends Sharon to a reporter as Brad sidles up beside her. Sharon takes the microphone to Jack's surprise and tells them all that Jack's an honourable man and that he DID plan to tell the truth before the release of the tape. Brad scowls. Victor's still smug.
More Jana and Kevin - he says he'll get her out of there, even if he has to break her out.
Ugh, Gloria! She gloats to Jack as she sips on her champagne - very ugly. Sharon takes her husband's arm and they leave for home. But Jack sees over his shoulder Victor approaching Gloria and that they clink their champagne glasses in celebration.
David hands Niki their statement about the Jack mess and Clear Springs. She tells him to release it and keep his fingers crossed.
Jana runs into Phyllis in the prison, hugs her, lol. Poor Phyllis.
Nice scene with Jack and Sharon as he tells her that he's going to put her and Noah first, no matter what. Noah joins them. Jack tells the kid that his father used to say that success is what you do with failure - it's that you bounce back that counts. And just watch him. Group hug.

Jill says "No one can see the surveillance tapes." Kay gapes in disbelief.
JT and Victoria gush about the baby. He wants the baby to get used to his voice.
Sharon tells Jack that Victor released the first one. Jack says he KNOWS that Victor did the first one.
YAH Colleen...and I read in SOW that Gloria was gonna get her comeuppance soon. I just hope that Kevin doesnt suffer too much for it
That's good news about Gloria, fianlly!
Today's epi also made me think that somehow Victor is going to take a hit over his alliance with Gloria. He'll probably weasel out of it, but at least let him have some grief over it.
