Sharon reads a very mean-spirited article in the newspaper about her and is terribly upset. Brad takes the opportunity to phone her, then continues to fantasize about busting up her marriage to Jack.
Lauren returns home from visiting her mother (who had broken her hip) in a foul mood over the shenanigans Gloria keeps pulling, and this time it is affecting her business. She's really had it with both her mother-in-law and Michael, says she wouldn't believe a single word out of either of their mouths.
Jana bugs Phyllis in jail, gushes how they are such great friends and think alike, so Phyllis goes to the warden (the one that can't stand her) and pleads to be moved away from Jana. (We all know how THAT's going to turn out, lol.)
Oops, Michael gets hell from Victor who is in killer mode as he goes after Nikki's project and tells Michael that if Lauren's business is badly affected by his actions, tough cookies. Then he reminds Michael that their conversation is confidential (lawyer/client privilege). So now Michael knows that Clear Springs is going to be ruined and his wife has just agreed to open a Fenmore's there, but he can't warn her.
Jeffery offers to go through the package he received from William with Gloria. First, photos of when the twins were little, William's childhood letters. (Gloria's getting antsy as she really wants to get her hands on that cream.)
Phyllis calls Michael, begs him to get Jana away from her as she is really creeping her out.
Bad confrontation between a super-pissed off Lauren and Michael. Their marriage is falling apart over Michael's constant defence of Gloria.
Nikki and Victoria, with David looking on, hype their mall on TV and manage to deflect questions about their association with Jack. Afterwards, they all gloat about how well it's going. Then David and Nikki plan to meet in his room later to "celebrate". (ick)
Gloria sends Jeffery off before finishing with the box of memorabilia as Fen wakes from his nap. She's frazzled.
Brad runs into Sharon at work, gives her a hard time about her life with Jack. Argh - could Brad be any more loathsome???? Doubt it!! Brad turns on the intercom so that Jack, in the office behind them, hears Sharon answer Brad's question that she didn't tell Jack about the kiss (with Nick), she only told him (Brad). Jack is suddenly saddened.
The warden tells Phyllis that he's cracking down on her and her new cell-mate is Jana.
Gloria tells Michael, and a thoroughly disgusted Lauren, that Jeffery Bardwell knows that she contaminated that cream. (There was a bit about latex gloves - watch it!!)
Ha ha, Victor tells Nikki, during an encounter at the GCAC, that pride cometh before the fall, and when he met her, she had nothing. That's exactly what he'll leave her with.
David meets with the reporter and implies that Jack might be involved with Ji Min's death.
Jack breaks into Sharon and Brad's conversation.
