We had one of our sons here last night for dinner and we yapped until a little after 10. As my husband left to drive him to the subway, I tuned into Las Vegas, more than half way through the 2 hour premier (?).
What happened to Ed? Why is Tom Selleck there? Is Mary gone?
Does anyone here watch the show too? I love Josh Duhamel so I'm hooked!
OKay, Ed killed Mary's father and now him and his wife are on the run. Tom Selleck is a cattle rancher who bought the casino.
The first 10 minutes or so, Sam was in the airplane with the skeeve who kidnapped her. He was getting ready to rape her. Had tied her hand to something in the plane. She managed to reach over and open the door to the plane and the guy flew out and splat on the sidewalk somewhere. (normally gross but in this case, go Sam)
Mary is gone because while it was Ed who shot the killing shot Mary did shoot her father. (and James Caan and Nikki Cox both wanted out).
I love Josh Duhamel and love the character of Danny. It was a good premier
I recorded Numb3ers on Friday night and watched it before bed last night, all interested to see Val Kilmer's part in the show. He was on for all of about 2 minutes! Sheesh! That show can be really good sometimes, but Friday night's left me flat. I guess I have to be in the mood.
I haven't watched Numbers yet. I keep meaning to but I have so many of these cop shows on my schedule. And Vegas was 2 hours Friday I didn't want to have to watch more tv.
i thought the season opener for las vegas was just great. i think tom selleck will be a good fit tho i will miss dear old ed & his awful language (i keep wonder how he gets away w/calling people douche bags rofl). i think ed set mary up in a lovely cottage in sunny florida.
i watch numb3rs w/o fail. i love charlie & family....and the two gals on the show. i never watch a show for the guest stars.
