Hey all...just wanted to give everyone a little update on how my trave down to Phenonix isgoing..
HI EVERYONE! I know no one's up, but I need to kill some serious time...
It's 3 a.m., and I'm sitting in the aiport in Vegas. Just sitting. I will be sitting here until 9:30 when I can get on my phoenix flight. OMG. I have wanted to just bawl, this has been the day from heck. It's started when the plane leaving from my hometown was late getting to the aiport. Made me late to Denver, which in turn cuased me to miss my connecting flight to Phoenix. So, I stood in line forever,and United finally got me another flight to Phoenix.But, we had to go to Orange County first. Yes, girls, Jojo went to the O.C. But, get this. We get there, and sit on the runway for 45 mintues b/c we couldn't get to our gate. So, I missed my flight to Pheonix AGAIN. It's better, I promise. So, I was on US Airways at this point, and they got me a flight from OC to Vegas, then to Phoenix. I bet you can't guess what happened next....
We couldn't leave OC for a while b/c planes were grounded b/c of high wind in Vegas and Cali. Plus, there was the ginormous wildfire in Cali that I could see blazing from the plane. And when I walked outside to the terminal, I actually got ashes in my eyes from the fire. Dude! Well, the grounded planes caused me to be late to Vegas, and I missed my next flight to Phoenix. So, I went down to the ticket counter, stood in line for nearly 3 hours, and finally got the earliest flight I could get, which is like 9:30 today.
I'm not sure I can handle any more bad luck or news.
Oh no! Missing connnecting flights is such a pain. Did your luggage make it through with you after all that mess? That fire in Malibu has been on al the news - really a bad one.
I'll be thinking of you while you're doing the next two weeks of training out in Phoenix, Jojo. Hang in there! Here are good wishes that the flights home go smoothly.
aww Jojo I wish my sister was still in AZ you and her would have had so much fun together. Anyways I hope that you manage to make it to Phx okay. If you get the slightest chance to pop in and say hi please do. We will miss you
Aw, thanks girls. I'm so deliriously tired that I don't freaking care anymore. I don't. I probably smell a little ripe, and my breath prolly ain't so hot either, LOL.
Tina, I hate flying too. This only solidifies my feelings on it.
Kae, I have no idea if my luggage made it with me. All I can do is hope. Hope hard.
Shel, I totally wish I had someone with me. Wouldn't be as bad!
I did get on the slot machines a little bit, but not for long. I was just so tired.
