Hi - I'm here for a little bit but my son (the new daddy) is sick with a cold thingy and he called first thing to ask that I come over asap to help out with the kids. I have a short dentist appointment (just a filling) at noon, then back home for a few, then over to their house until it's time to pick up husband from subway.
We watched the baseball game last night (much to my chagrin - I'm not a fan) but I was able to see Tuc on DH during breaks. Yeah!!
It's a cool, typical fall day. What's up with you guys today?
And the girl that plays Nathan's step-daughter, Lyndsay Fonseca (sp??) was on Y&R, as was Eva Longoria. Very soapy!
What did you think of that sculpture/fountain that the boys installed in their front yard? Too funny.
There's a sculptor that lives on a busy street not far from us who has about a dozen of his creations all around his front and side yards that caused quite a stir in the neighbourhood a few years back as neighbours wanted him to remove the things. The sculptor won the court decision, so they stayed. It's a (ahem) landmark now. At least they don't make noise the way the DH thing does, lol.
I totally missed DH last night. Thank goodness for the internet huh. I saw the baseball game in its entirety and had a blast. I had a couple girl friends over and my in laws are still here. Not only am i a baseball fan but I love the Red Sox. I cant believe they swept the series.
Anyways, I am off to a doctors appointment and then to do some sight seeing stuff with the family
Kae have fun with those babies, and everyone else have fun doing whatever it is you are doing
HEy all. I missed DH too and for some weird reason it didn't record ... very upset over that oh well. Go Red Sox!!! We went to Boo at the Zoo yesterday. The kids had fun, but it wasn't anything like last year. I guess luckily the haunted train ride wasn't very scary, but the kids were hoping to get scared. I think we may try to go tomorrow or the next day to one of the scarier things. Of course Bethany will hang out in the car with me or the hubbub, or home well anyways you get the drift. Tonight we are going to my mom's for her Birthday and Cody meets up with his Big Brother from Big Bro Big Sis. I am so glad he got picked. He has this complex that he always has to take care of others and be responsible, and since the husband works such late hours they don't get to do as much together. The school thinks the boy who is working with him will help him out greatly with reading, and give him a good friend. They usually only get the big bro/sis for kids in single parent families, but his teacher recommended him since he has the dyslexia, and usually at home we have to work on school stuff or be running around. I think this'll be good he's going to help him learn to play guitar.
thats cool he got picked up for Big Brother, I have a friend who was a Big Sister for that. Good stuff. We really arent doing much today. Going to go see our possible new house. Not much else
