Adam finally ends the idiotic "Stuart" charade and pours his heart out to Krystal. Tad forbids a torn Krystal from ever taking Jenny anywhere near Adam. Richie psychologically manipulates Annie. Erica holds her daughter's youngest son for the first time. JR falls off the wagon after Babe makes it abundantly clear that they are over. Opal and Joe both urge Erica to 'fess up to her "commitment" scheme.

Greenlee can't believe the depth of Kendall's betrayal as the evidence incriminating her for Spike's kidnapping continues to mount. Kendall explains everything to Zach who realizes his failed scheme played a part in setting off his wife's plot against Greenlee. Zach fills in the holes for a stunned Kendall. Jack warns Erica that he will make sure Kendall pays if she's responsible for Greenlee's troubles; meanwhile Aidan is determined to prove Kendall's guilt and free Greenlee. Erica proceeds to give an interview in an attempt to turn public opinion against a "psychologically ill" Greenlee. Unable to think of her spending any more time behind bars, Aidan comes up with a plan and tells Greenlee to plead guilty at the arraignment at which point he'll create a situation to break her out. As Kendall sinks into despair about what has gone down, Zach argues that everything that has happened has happened for the best. A furious Ryan confronts Zach and Kendall. Zach is unremorseful as he feels justified in punishing Greenlee for what she did to his family. Jack implores Kendall to do the right thing. In court, Greenlee pleads guilty to the charges and then goes off into a veiled diatribe directed at a shaken Kendall. Kendall tells a stunned Erica and Zach that she's going to confess. As Kendall is about to step forward, Aidan puts his plan in motion and chaos ensues. Ryan turns a blind eye when he sees Aidan leaving the courthouse with Greenlee.
