Tina, your insurance should cover the diamond, so get on the phone with your broker asap! And just as a word of caution, if you have had your ring checked and the setting tightened up recently, send the receipt to the insurance people, just in case they try to give you the runaround.

Tina, there is a cream by Origins called Ginger Souffle that has been wonderful for itchiness for me. It's not all that easy to find, but I'll search for you, see where you can buy it in your area.
If it were me, I'd stop the benadryl right away as all it does is suppress the cause of the itch and the rash. The topical stuff soothes it. Ditto for cortisone, should you be tempted to resort to that. Just my experience.
Okay, found it! Nordstrom's carries it, and you can order it online from several delivery services, too. Once you've tried it, you won't ever want to be without it. My husband loves it as well, smells divine and really moisturises beautifully. Be careful to get the original and not the extra rich version as it's too heavy and goopy.
Did your doctor run any tests even though she/he couldnt see any rash? You could probably even do the allergy test thing that they do. I hope the cream Kae suggested does the trick, sounds miserable
One mom at ballet said that her child gets this when they have a cold virus type thing, it's the body's way of fighting. And since I've considered what I could be using, and have nothing new I'm going to see if it goes away when the cold goes away
