* Clint breaks up with Dorian.
* Before taking off to enjoy Nigels yacht and island, Alex lays divorce papers on David, blaming him for cheating on her. She doesnt mention taking Nigels deal or Davids true identity.
* David gets nothing from Alex, despite their so-called prenuptial agreement which he discovers is worthless.
* While speeding out of Texas, Alex unknowingly hit-and-runs Dorian.
* Jared threatens to blab about David being the bastard Buchanan son to the rest of the Buchanan men if Nigel doesnt allow him to view the contents of Asas letter. Nigel gives in, regrettably.
* Jared reads Asas letter, all about David being his son and receiving a seat on the Buchanan Enterprises board. While Alex found this of no use to her, Jareds mouth waters.
* Nigel brings up Natalie to Jared, and what she would do if she knew what he was doing.
* Jared forges ahead with assuming the identity that rightfully belongs to David. As an added safety measure, he pilfers some of Davids hair in case theres a call for a DNA test.
* Nash tries to talk some sense into Natalie about Jared, but shes as receptive as a block of stone.
* Clint and Bo think Nigels off when the butler points to Jared as the long-lost Buchanan.
* Todd lets Viki know whats going on with Marcie and Tommy, via phone.
* David spots a fugitive Marcie, and sees dollar signs. He promises he wont rat her out, provided she make it worth her while.
* Marcie phones up Michael to see if her husband might be able to quickly procure a million in sum for David. Good luck there.
* Todds ranting and raving about what hes gonna do about this situation deeply upsets Michael.
* Charlie hears word that his long-lost son might be holed up in a ranch once owned by an Asa Buchanan. He goes there to check it out.
* En route to Asas ranch, Charlie sees Dorian out like a light, and goes to take care of her and her bruised ankle.
* Dorian invites Charlie to join her back in Llanview, so he can be reunited with his son.
* David runs into Viki at the Paris, TX café where she works. Immediately, he inquires as to whether shes gone DID again, as Niki. Then, lights out for him. (Noelle rings his bell, to save Viki from being found out.)
* When David comes to, rubbing his head, Viki fills him in on her latest adventures slumming it.
* Viki allows David to remain in her motel room for just a little while longer.
* Gigis eyes bug out when she walks into Vikis, and in on David lounging around in a state of semi-undress.
* Vikis phone call makes Charlie feel good and ease his worries about finding his son.
* Nash gives Charlie the latest update on Jared.
* Charlie finds Jared at the Buchanan mansion, but the father-son reunion doesnt go well; in fact, Jared kicks him out.
* Charlie wants to drink. A lot.
* Nora and Clint leave out the part about making out when regaling Bo on Texas.
* Mums the word for Nash and Jessica too.
* John and Ramsey travel to Ireland, in large part from a clue in Patricks poetic tomes. There, they seek to rescue Marty and Cole from the confines of Patricks best friends lair.
* It is Patricks best friend Simon, Marty figures out soon enough, who has taken them prisoner and means to do them much harm. Simon, she also now knows, snuffed out Patricks life.
* Simon tries to shake any and all data that was in Patricks possession from Marty, only Marty insists shes clueless. Deja vu.
* In frustrated reaction, Simon thinks Marty will talk if he describes how hell snuff out Coles life next if she doesnt.
* Cole receives a biography and history lesson about his dad Patrick, with the cliffhanger of his execution.
* Blair and Todd try to make Starr feel better, even though shes freaking about Cole.
* Ramseys idea of saving Cole and Marty isnt shared by John, who is angered and afraid that it just may be their Waterloo.
* Talia lays one on Antonio. Antonio, however, doesnt lay one back. He explains as sensitively as he can that they are just friends and that he was aware of how much she cares for him.
* Cristian tells Sarah he missed her, and then lays one on her. Only with Sarah, she thinks Cristian is still hung up on comatose Evangeline.
* Layla is there for Sarah and Talia to unload and unburden themselves.
Next week: A DNA test calls for Jared to use Davids stolen hair after all John saves Cole in the end, but not Marty. The van shes in flies off the cliff, and shes pronounced DOA Cole thinks its all Ramseys fault Coles retaliatory agenda affects Miles Jared is mean to his dad Charlie Charlie starts picking up on his bad alcohol habit as a result Michael gets closer to getting a bead on Marcie (and Tommy) Langston gains a new (foster) mom in Dorian.

Having to be so last-minute or plan way ahead for breaks can befor a soap actressa kill-joy. Melissa Archer (Natalie) explained that its not like she can just take off on vacation at a moments notice or even months along down the line, not with her soap schedule, plotted out only mere weeks in advance. But then, she said, she could always just put in a request for a vacation, shrugging that its not so bad.
Several soap events have taken place at a New York City hotspot called Ruby Foos. John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex) is very familiar with the place, its near his pad and it serves food he could die for, like chocolate cakean indulgence in his otherwise healthy lifestyle. He has an inventive way of preparing the takeout for home snacking. Hell stick the cake in the microwave, beep it for a few seconds, and lap up his chocolate soup.
BethAnn Bonner (Talia) loves her designer shoes so much, shell even gawk at pictures of them on the Internet. She collects them practically, from names such as Valentino, and Dolce & Gabbana to Christian Dior, to even Payless practical. She doesnt even have to wear them necessarily, she doesnt with her Christian Dior works of art. Theyre kind of like a statue or really expensive stuffed animals that I just look at. After Hillary B. Smith (Nora) steered Bonner to an online site (Zappos.com) for shoe fanatics, she was beside herself with obsession. Soap Opera Digest, November 27, 2007

If the gods smile down on OLTLs PTB and the planets align, it may be sooner than later that the original Marty (Susan Haskell) takes over where recast Christina Chambers forgettably left off.
Another leading lady will pull a Melissa Gallo (Adriana), in that she may have a full-time contract going on, but that doesnt guarantee a full contracts time.
Last week on a Thanksgiving and birthday high, I treated myself to all three ABC soaps on a daily basis while luxuriating on my sofa sectional, quilt over my lap, three turkey sandwiches on my TV tray, glass of milk beside them. So I caught the telling Thanksgiving scene where Michael joins Adriana, Rex, Roxy, Miles, Layla and Vincent for holiday dinner. He seemed so sad, preternaturally so, with Adriana and Rex especially sensitive to his condition to the point where I wondered if real crossed over into reel. You know Michaels Nathaniel Marstons dealing with some heavy real-life issues, like those charges that were dropped (?) involving assault and battery and just having been let go by ABC Daytimes dispassionate number crunchers. According to Ravenbeauty, his departure has hit the cast hard, they all love and adore him so much. On November 17th, she wrote this: I can tell you this much. Many of his co-stars care about him and are very upset by this right now. They feel like they've lost a member of their family and so do we. Once again if you haven't written a letter yet please do so because it can make a difference and it has in the past.
