saw a psychic the other night

we went out with some friends at a cajun bar called Moe Joes, kinda fun. Then this psychic approached, I thought she was giving free readings, because she was there once before. Anyway she mostly talked about my son saying he needs me now, going thru teenage angst. Then she said I might get a job opportunity to work from home in about two months. Hope so! She says I'm frustrated because I have all these skills I'm not using. (thats true) My friend got a reading too and it was pretty darn good.

And I asked her if I'd have a safe flight in January, cuz I need that extra assurance ya know!

I have an appointment with my good psychic Thursday, kinda nervous, but excited too!

The same dreams you were talking about?

Yes I'm still having them. They will occassionally stop for a week or two and then start up again. This psychic said I have an "emotional" connection to this guy, ever since we first met and he thinks about me too.

I have to wait and see what my regular psychic says before I do anything crazy though!

I really dont think I could see a psychic. I would be afraid that she would tell me something like that my marriage is doomed or something else horrendous like that. I give you ladies kudos, I think I would rather not know.

This psychic told me years ago Ed wasn't the right guy for me, and I think deep in my heart I knew she was right. But I felt like I didn't have any other options at that time, and he was "good enough". Later I saw her and she described some of his behaviour and said he wouldn't change. I think that was an eye-opener, that he wouldn't change.

I still feel stuck. She can tell me he's all wrong for me, but what am I supposed to do?
I usually ignore the stuff about him, although this time I'd like some details. If I'm supposed to leave, then where do I go, how do I support myself and the kids?

I'm usually hoping she'll tell me about some great career that I would be successful at, or that I will be wealthy, and I always ask about my kids, how they will grow up.

I think last time she told me I was too overprotective of Ryan.

I also had to ask her about an ex-boyfriend that was on my mind at the time, and she put that issue to rest.

SO I really think she'll have some insight on this guy I'm dreaming about. Luckily I know his b-day, and that's how she picks up on people.

Shelly, my friend was afraid to go the other night, but she agreed to at least sit by me, then she had a reading and really liked it! The psychic told her, that her daughter should be a doctor, she has healing hands, and my friend was like "that's exactly what she wants to be!" I don't think you have anything to fear.

I dont know, if some lady told me that my marriage was in danger or that it wouldnt last I wouldnt know what to do. I already have one failed marriage, really dont think I could handle another one. Thats something to fear in my mind.

Tina, years ago when I was in quite a state of turmoil, I went to a psychic. All I'll say is that I shouldn't have gone. What he told me upset me to no end, and after all that I'd already been through, that was the last thing I needed.

Anyway, he was wrong on all fronts, and he had come very highly recommended. Please be careful.

A very sensible friend of mine once went to a geomancer. He gave her windows of opportunities for various things to happen in her life, told her that if those windows passed, she would never have what she wanted. It threw her into a state of depression for two years when the windows closed and she was still without what she wanted so badly. (Her husband left her for another woman a few years before that, then was killed in a plane crash in Brazil. The geomancer told her she'd lose the same husband twice, which she did.)

Kae, you just reafirmed my decision to not see a psychic. If something like that was going to happen to me I really dont think I would want to know.

I'm going to be completely straight forward in my opinion and again, it's only my opinion. Any good psychic is a psychology school drop out. It's all about reading people. No offense to those that respect this but a lot of "psychics" are more just reading your body, your emotions and expressions. That's the way I feel about it.

There are those that scam and those that don't. But ultimately they have an opinion. That's it. I could have told Tina that she was frustrated by not being able to use her skills because we've had that discussion. All you have to do is be able to infer something and you can seem like a genius.

All I can say is watch out and don't put too much stock into these things. I'd suggest some good prayer over psychics, but that's me.

Don't mind what I said though, just my opinion on psychics.

I understand everyone having doubts. There are those frauds, I've met them too.

But let me just say that Last time I saw Roxy, She described a person in my life that yells at me, comes in and out of the room and yells more, and she told me to get that person out of my life ASAP. She said he is like a vampire sucking the life out of me. I have the tape around here somewhere, she really goes into detail, for a full hour reading.

So it's not like I sit there and she sees me upset, and says "leave your husband" She just very specifically describes a person, and how they act, and what I need to do about it.

She doesn't ask questions, she just reads the cards.

She also described an ex of mine perfectly. And helped with an issue there.

When I met her years ago, I had a crush on Ed, gave her his bday and she warned me then "he has a major problem with alcohol, and it will only get worse" I didn't listen!

I'm nervous, but hoping for some help.

In my last reading I did get a good card, it said have faith in God and certain things will work out in 2008. (again, I'd have to get the tape for the specifics)

And believe me I don't live my life based on psychics, obviously, or I would have NOT married Ed. I just need some clarity.smile.gif
