How can Jared say he's Asa's son? Did Asa ever meet Jared's Momma, Does he have any clue that Renee went thru this before with Max

I just assumed that the writers are writing the show for newer viewers, so this rehash of the Max Holden scam is irrelevant, I guess. But for those of us who HAVE watched for years, it's an old story and I'm not impressed.
