I don't know. I think she realizes that they've both completely blown just about every chance they've had to do the right thing. Maybe she was thinking that if she did something good her luck might change. lol.
I dont think I would have either. Cause if he would have died he would have blamed her, even if he didnt, what if he didnt see who hit him. He still might have blamed her. She was in a no win situation
