Glad to hear I'm not alone in my dislike of Babs. She's not as obnoxious as Oprah, but I don't like the way she always seems to suck up to the rich and famous with no regard to principles. (Paris Hilton interview, for example.)
yeah, out of the View women I would rather have either Joy or had Meredith stayed her. Babs is a good journalist, or she was til she just became an interviewer. I was so head strong into journalism in high school that I just loved her. I can see why she is annoying, and I totally agree about the Paris thing
speaking of myspace, my account is saying it's locking me out for excessive login attempts. But I just woke up! I wonder if someone is trying to hack my account!
I used to like Barbara as a journalist, too. But then she started with those "most fascinating people" things that she does every year, and that's when I noticed that she panders to the powerful in Hollywood or royalty, no matter what sort of despicable antics they'd been up to.
You guys know I'm a gossip hound (for celebrities, who pretty much ask for it, lol) and I've read some really alarming things about some huge names. I'm sure Babs has too. And yet that doesn't stop her from cozying up to them. She pretty much hung Rosie out to dry so she could curry favour with Trump, who, presumably is more powerful than Rosie. And I don't even especially like Rosie. Just saying that she should have stood up for one her "girls", but didn't.
Anyway, that Paris interview from jail finished me off, for good!
And Tina, I have no idea what is going on with My Space. Maybe our resident techie, Bran, can clue you in. He's had problems with that site too.
