I decided to take advantage of the new printer "Santa" brought me early lol. So I did our own pictures. I can't believe how less stressful this was than going to any store. I don't know many stores that let your kids sit around in their diaper while waiting for their turn lol. So I'm open to any feedback from you guys. I think I might try to find some white faux fur for the next round of pics lol.
Bethany looks so much like you. I think they turned out awesome, and to be honest had you not told me that they were done at your house I would have never known. So good job
Great pics, Jess! Wow! You have the tree up already! I haven't even wrapped my head around Christmas yet, but will check out my fave little Boy Scout tree place this afternoon. Maybe we'll get one this week.
Your pictures are darling! I miss the days when my three were little, and all excited about Santa!
I just told my husband within the past fifteen minutes, that the one strange thing about Christmas is the fact that our son is living less than fifteen minutes away, and didn't spend the night with us last Christmas Eve. He likes being in his own place, and he had just moved out last year, at the beginning of November. What made it especially strange last year, and will again this year, is that my two daughters will be here from out of town, and they'll be sleeping at home. One child is missing...!!!
Then, there's Karen whose son is halfway across the world. It makes me feel ridiculous for complaining about not having mine spend the night here! Karen, I just don't know how you get through this. I would be an absolute mess!
I have a "rule" about not putting our tree up until December 1st. I'm willing to give the entire month of December over to celebrating Christmas, but November is reserved for a bunch of family birthdays, and for Thanksgiving. One major holiday at a time! I'm a little past December 1st now, but the tree is my project for tomorrow.
I absolutely SWEAR that I JUST put the thing up, and took it down again!!! Has it really been a year already??? That's just scary!

Thank you guys so much! You know I can't imagine the day that my kids might not be at home for Christmas. My grandma rally does have it good though. On Christmas day she goes to my moms and has breakfast and visits while we open presents, then she jets off to my aunts and has lunch there and checks out the presents they got. Then for supper we swing by on our way home (though we've already seen her at my mom's lol) and drop off leftovers from my other grandma's house. I've decided that if they are going to go and move out on me, I'm just gonna do like grams.
Oh and I swear I almost didn't have a tree. We had gotten a white tree last year and it made me so happy. However, of course when we moved, Floyd left it at the old house thinking that it was our old ucky one and brought the "Charlie Brown" Tree we had. Oh and guess what I had in my tree box .. yup all my ornaments. SO we had to start from scratch. I was heartbroken because Bethany's First Christmas ornament was left. I tell ya. I told him to grab all boxes no matter what ... OH this is what you get for cutting corner ... I could really kick his butt. Well needless to say it was a very cold few days until he replaced them all.
