Victor blows his stack at Niki because he found a love letter from David to Niki in an archive box that David packed up and sent to her. Big noisy argument! It's interrupted when Nick and Phyllis drop by for a visit.
Ugh. Gloria blathers on outside the courtroom about how fabulous she was, gloats in front of Jack. And Jack's in trouble, big time now, thanks to Glo. Ben advises him to watch what he says and a foreboding of Jack stepping down. (Spoilers have said that he does in fact resign.)
Niki, back at the tack house, holds Summer and tells Phyllis about her huge blow out with Victor, bonding.... . Phyllis says that Victor is trying to get her attention. Meanwhile Victor and Nick have a warm conversation about the horrible police search.
Michael tells Lauren about the audio tape of Victor bullying Ji Min, and because of this they have to postpone their anniversary dinner. Kiss, kiss.
Gloria plans her gloat-fest over dinner at the GCAC with Kevin. (Gawd, she is hateful!) Sharon questions Mike and Lauren about the authenticity of the love letter and Michael pretty much convinces her that Jack did indeed mess with the will. Good Mike scene.
Jack defends himself to the ethics committee, slags Gloria...good job, Jack!!
Nick notes that his dad wouldn't be so angry about that love letter if he didn't still love Niki. (David's such a manipulative schmuck! And Niki doesn't have a clue yet. This part of the story is actually pretty good. I hope Victor exposes David Chow and soon! But, as you know, I've never been on Niki's side of the fence over her split up with Victor. I've always thought Victor was right this time.)
More Gloria gloating. Michael advises his mother not to jump the gun on her celebration. Jack asks Ben to organise a handwriting expert for the letter.
David calls Niki and she tells him about Victor reading the letter and he pretends to be SO sorry, offers to come pick her up, reminds her that she still has the key to his room at the club. Niki ventures back to the ranch and apologises to Victor who sort says yeah, whatever, but you can't stay in this house any more. "You can come and go as you like, but stay somewhere else."
Lauren surprise Mike with a romantic evening home. And Gloria orders the MOST expensive bottle of champagne for her and Kevin as the two of them plan their nasty vengeance against Jack.
Sharon confronts Jack, asks for the whole truth. Jack looks as guilty as can be! He admits to it all. Sharon's aghast. Good Jack scene. (Gawd, I love PB!)
Phyllis and Nick cuddle on the sofa. Niki tells Victor she's going up to say goodnight to Victoria and will spend the night at the tack house.
More Gloria and kevin yapping about how much fun it is being SO rich, and along comes Jeffery who comments about how RICH Gloria is.
Lauren and Mike play strip dice game thingy (I'm sure there's a name for it, don't know, sorry.) Kisses and steam.
Sharon's pissed with Jack, says she's tired of forgiving him, wonders if the man she believed in even exists.
Gloria and Jeffery - he says he'd be sentimental too if there was evidence that could convict him of manslaughter.
John's ghost listens as Jack says that Sharon has to realise that the man he was back then is not the man he is today.
Sharon tells Victor that she'd rather be there with him and Victoria than at home with her own husband. (I forgot to say report that in the last scene today, after Jack admits that he HAD to do something, Sharon picks up her coat and quietly leaves Jack's house.)
Today was good, so plan to record it for sure. Lots of good acting scenes, plot advancements and light-touch anvils. However, it is pretty Gloria-heavy, so have that FF button handy if she gives you the heaves as much as she does me, lol. Betcha anything that Jeffery ends up blackmailing Gloria into sharing her fortunes with him. I can smell that one coming a mile away!
Oh PLEASE let Gloria get busted, please. But leave Mikey out of it, too. He's already been torn to bits and built back up twice already. Leave him alone, please?
Just a thought on what Jack did with that will business - wasn't John acting like a besotted old fool with Gloria leaving her HALF of his estate? I don't think what Jack did was all that horrible considering he had Gloria's number from the beginning. It would have been wiser if he'd rewritten the will to toss Gloria a few bones here and there rather than have her excluded altogether. It wouldn't have looked so fishy.
